You Deserve to Be Healthy

As I ponder writing for my book “Thin People Eat Less”

I’ve looked at other books that focus on dieting, being healthy, and being fit. They lead to one conclusion: eat less, move more and you’ll weigh less than you do now. There are many “tactics” to get there. But the one true way to do it is to eat less and move more. Some of the other books out there are preachy and harsh. I’m trying to motivate people with humor and common sense.

No one has to be humiliated or guilted into losing weight. I want people to do it because they deserve to be healthy. There is no question that people who are overweight have more health issues than people not overweight.

Don’t believe that you deserve the Twinkie, the candy bar, the double bacon cheeseburger. What you deserve is to be healthy. And the way to do that is to respect yourself enough to make better choices.

I know people are lazy and that cooking is a chore or challenge for some people. But take charge of what you eat, you deserve to be healthy and eat the best food.

Eat whole foods. That is food in their original state, not processed. If you make changes in your diet to do this, it will make a difference in your health if you aren’t doing it know. I am pretty confident to believe that if you ate a bag of apples a day instead of a bag a chips, you would be healthier and thinner.

Eat Less - weigh less

My research continues to prove correct. Thin people eat and drink less than non-thin people. I've been practicing this myself and have lost weight. It takes time, but the key is to eat to be healthy and enjoy it.

I'll be elaborating on this in upcoming posts.

How do thin people stay thin?

Well, for a fact, I know that thin people eat less than non-thin people. I work with a thin person. I've learned a lot by watching her for the past two years. For example, she doesn't eat much and she exercises. Now that is just annoying! That really is the way to be thin.

Toss all of those diet books and put down the fork!! Put some walking shoes on and move your ass!

It is common sense, eat less, move more and you will lose weight.
